Wineries throughout the Paso area celebrated Harvest Wine Weekend, October 18-20. Here at JUSTIN, we opened our doors to hundreds of guests on Saturday and Sunday. We had gorgeous weather both days and many of our guests enjoyed our outdoor patio. We were serving up our Grilled Bites at our outdoor kitchen. Our gorgeous pumpkins and squashes throughout the Tasting Room came from the local farm, San Marcos Ranch in Paso Robles. We were pouring some of our best wines. We also invited local purveyors Central Coast Creamery and TheraBee Honey to sample their delicious offerings. TheraBee served a delicious, lively Watermelon Salad with Smoked Tomato-Thai Chile Honey. Visit their blog for the recipe.
The most spectacular part of the weekend was our Harvest Winemaker dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Chef Will prepared a mind-blowing feast. Each dish was artfully platted and served with impeccable service. Chef Will and his team dedicated many hours to the menu. The broth on the Pacific White Fish Ramen took over two day to cook. Each course was carefully paired with JUSTIN wine.
